I have been in a huge dinner rut lately. Anyone else? It’s been difficult finding recipes that my kids will actually eat.

With the help of my air fryer, I was able to finally get something on the table in under 20 minutes. Not to mention a meal that they actually ate and devoured.

The air fryer has come in handy lately. I have spent the last couple of weeks developing recipes that have been huge winners in our house. If you need help with the air fryer check out this post. We talk all about the basics there.

Pizza Rolls Air Fryer:

My kids are huge fans of the infamous Totino’s pizza rolls. But I am not a huge fan of all the preservatives that are hidden inside. I wanted to create a healthier option with minimal effort and that could please everyone in my family.

So, I decided to test some recipes that resembled these cooked frozen pizza rolls. I grabbed some pre-made pizza dough from Trader Joe’s, pizza toppings, marinara sauce and went to town.

And the homemade air fried pizza rolls were born!

Can I Freeze These Pizza Rolls?

These pizza rolls are perfect for a freezer meal. Make a big batch and freeze half for a later use.

Freeze them on a sheet tray for 1 hour and then transfer to a freezer safe ziplock bag.  Place them back into the freezer until you are ready to use.

When you are ready to cook the frozen pizza rolls just follow this tip.

Cooking frozen pizza rolls in the air fryer is the exact same as the recipe below. There is no need to thaw them, just cook for 5-10 additional minutes.

In general when cooking frozen foods in the air fryer just add about 5-10 extra minutes.
